ObamACORN?

(h/t to princess wears prada for the title)

Obama is a liar.  I’ve started several posts with that sentence, mainly becuase it is true, and he lies so often.   For some strange reason he seems to not like it.  He even had the nerve to complain about the fact that McCain has called him a liar as well.  But other than the fact that Obama thinks it is mean, what is wrong with calling him a liar, when he constantly lies?  In last night’s debate when confronted with lies, Obama’s reaction was to respond with “that’s not true”, which of course is in itself another lie.

My Preciousss!!!

My Preciousss!!!

But I digress.  There was one topic he was willing to talk about. ACORN.  He wanted people to know that he has nothing to do with the group, or at the very least has had minimal contact with the group, long ago (gee, where have I heard that before).  But maybe finally somebody in the media is starting to check in on Obama’s claims rather than just blindly accepting his denials.  From Fox News (oh, and to those blowhard weenies–you know who you are– who have a problem with the sourcing on this blog; fair enough, foxnews or the nypost might not be exactly impartial, but I’ll bet you your 401K you can’t find me a reliable media source anywhere these days, so stick a cork in it).

Twice in the last week, Barack Obama has said his relationship with ACORN — the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now — began and ended with legal work he did for the group in 1995.

The Democratic presidential candidate made his remarks in an effort to distance himself from the low-income advocacy group, which is under investigation for voter fraud in several states.

But that’s not exactly true, not even truthy.

Obama conducted training sessions for ACORN workers a decade ago, and his campaign also recently paid an ACORN subsidiary for canvassing efforts.

Plus his work with a group called Project Vote back in 1992 raises questions about whether he was involved with ACORN back then.

Project Vote was one of Obama’s earliest political successes. As director of Illinois Project Vote, Obama helped register 150,000 new voters in Chicago, and he was heralded for his efforts in local media.

ACORN was also registering voters at that time, and its relationship with Project Vote casts some doubt on Obama’s statement that his involvement with ACORN didn’t begin until three years later.

Obama’s campaign Web site — in a section called “Fight the Smears” that is devoted to shooting down harmful rumors about his candidacy — states as “fact” that “ACORN was not part of Project Vote, the successful voter registration drive Barack ran in 1992.”

The site also states, “Barack Obama never organized with ACORN.”

But accounts from the 1992 voter drive suggest the two groups were at least working alongside each other, if not together.

A blogger for Obama’s campaign Web site in February wrote: “When Obama met with ACORN leaders in November, he reminded them of his history with ACORN and his beginnings in Illinois as a Project Vote organizer … Senator Obama said, ‘I come out of a grassroots organizing background. … Even before I was an elected official, when I ran (the) Project Vote voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it.’”

So once again, just as McCain pointed out last night about his pledge to accept public financing, Obama’s own words contradict what he says now about his relationship to ACORN.  Even when they do get truthy, it still smells like a big old fat lie:

But as to Obama’s statement that his ties to ACORN are contained to his legal work, it has already been widely reported that his campaign paid more than $800,000 to a group called Citizens Services Inc., an ACORN subsidiary, to “augment” Obama’s grassroots organizing efforts in the Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania primaries.

His campaign maintains those efforts were for getting voters to the polls and not for voter registration, which is the sticking point of ongoing ACORN probes.

Goldberg also confirmed to FOXNews.com that Obama gave two training sessions over the course of three years in the late ’90s. He said each session lasted an hour or less.

Republicans say Obama can’t deny his relationship with ACORN.

“[Obama's] relationship with ACORN is well-established,” said Republican National Committee spokesman Danny Diaz. “His comment is a fabrication.”

But Obama’s carefully worded statement regarding ACORN training on his “Fight the Smears” site appears to be true.

The statement says ACORN never “hired” Obama “as a trainer, organizer or any type of employee.”

And Goldberg said that, in fact, “Barack was not paid.”

Diaz noted that Obama changed his Web site to reflect the training sessions — it previously said the Illinois senator was never an ACORN trainer. The word, “hired,” was added later.

So they go from outright lying to parsing words to the point that all meaning is lost.  Is that the change we’ve been waiting for?

So why is this so important?  Well, because ACORN is finding itself in the midst of one of the largest election fraud investigations in US history.

The FBI is investigating whether the community activist group ACORN helped foster voter registration fraud around the nation before the presidential election. A senior law enforcement official confirmed the investigation to The Associated Press on Thursday.

A second senior law enforcement official says the FBI was looking at results of recent raids on ACORN offices in several states for any evidence of a coordinated national scam…

Some ACORN employees have been accused of submitting false voter registration forms — including some signed `Mickey Mouse’ or other fictitious characters.

Those voter registration cards have become the focus of fraud investigations in Nevada, Connecticut, Missouri and at least five other states. Election officials in Ohio and North Carolina also recently questioned the group’s voter forms

Notice anything about those states (not mentioned are Michigan and Virginia, Florida, Colorado, New Mexico, Pennsylvania)?   They all happen to be very close swing states.  Now a lot of people say this is a bunch of nonsense, and that it is typical Republican grandstanding about an organization that does a lot of good.  OK then, if that’s true, why is Barack Obama running away from them so fast that he feels he has to lie to the American people about his association with them?  I’d think he’d be proud of it.  Or maybe he’s started lying so much he doesn’t know when to tell the truth.  No matter what, I don’t think I trust him to be President of the United States.

  1. Gary – Great post! I am so sick of Obama’s pathological inability to tell the truth about ANYTHING!

Going downstairs to tell everyone about it…

  2. Love that pic! (We love the ice age movies)

  3. So Gary, was it his training that taught them to commit fraud?

  4. Haven’t they discovered that one woman was registered twelve times. They just changed the spelling of her name and changed her address?

  5. gary,

ACORN itself is contradicting Obama’s statements on them. Thought you might wanna add that to your post :D

It’s the second article. Also, that number should be 800k I believe.

    http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/sfgate/indexn?blogid=14

“ACORN organizers this morning said that Sen. Barack Obama, as a local elected official in Chicago, participated in two training sessions for 50 volunteer leaders.

In addition, he and his law firm represented a group of plantiffs, including ACORN, regarding motor votor registration issues. They said his campaign has also provided about $80,000 in funding to an independent consulting group, which in turn provided some funding to ACORN to get out the vote.”

  6. votermom – I love the pic too – and the caption! The first Ice Age movie was great, but I didn’t like the second one.

Now, Toy Story I & II – they were just brilliant.

  7. Sal – It IS $800,000, and they received $200,000 more through Obama’s friend Ayers.

    Seriously, WTF?!

  8. gary … great post … great graphic … and i’m putting all shields up towards the forward to get ready for the incoming!

obama doesn’t know truth, he just knows how to move a story in a way that helps him … he considers the truth to be not consequential to what he’s trying to say and prove … it is so pathological as madamab said!

  9. I guess I am a possible redneck because I adore Shrek.

  10. He doesn’t have to tell the truth, that is the problem. He lies and the bots are there in a NY minute explaining WORM.

  11. TRK – I love Shrek too! Actually, almost all the animated Pixar ones.

  12. And if you have the audacity to call him a liar, then that is a code word.

  13. Nothing he does or says surprises me anymore, as I believe him to be an absolute FRAUD. Phony, phony, phony.

  14. Antonio Banderas just kills me, as Puss.

  15. OMG, Kim, those eyes! Hilarious!

I just love him anyway. He is incredibly sexy!!!

  16. I won’t even give him the courtesy of calling him a fraud and phony. How about crook and liar?

    That too. LOL!

  18. Everythime he does those cat eye things, I laugh so hard I cry

  19. I am in a bitchy mood today, earlier I called it a Betty Davis mood.

  20. You know what also makes me laugh? Ellen DeGeneres in “Finding Nemo.” When Dorie starts speaking “whale,” I am helpless with laughter!

  21. I think that last piece from the AP which says the FBI is looking for evidence of “coordinated national scam” is seriously bad news for obama. that does not sound like what both acorn and obama are saying, that this is just a few bad egg employees. If he does get elected this could certainly be a danger to his presidency.

  22. Liar. That is a good word for him. I screamed at the TV last night when John said “you started your political career in Ayres living room” and Obambi said “that’s not true!” IT IS TRUE YOU BIG DICKHEAD ASK ALICE PALMER!!!! She was there!!!

  23. Ellen DeGeneres is great in anything and she loved HRC

  24. griffithnc – I had the same reaction!

Obama’s smoothness scared me last night. He just lies so easily. Only people with no conscience are able to do that.

  25. If Obama says he doesn’t know someone, you can bet money they have exchanged bodily fluids sometime in the past.

  26. Edited to delete reference an issue that isn’t discussed at The Confluence.

  27. And to think that just a week ago, they wanted ACORN in the bailout package. Whose great idea was that one?

  28. I think the ACORN idea in the bailout package was Pelosi’s.

  29. On Drudge’s frontpage now:

GALLUP SHOCK: 49 OBAMA, 47 MCCAIN WITH LIKELY VOTERS

  30. Oh please, I don’t believe any of those stupid polls. Remember how accurate they were in the last election. Kerry was going to win big time. That didn’t work out did it?

  31. Gary, if Rezco doesn’t get him, ACORN just might.

I think what really scares me is that there will be evidence, but he will be allowed by the dems and the MSM to lie and everything will be just fine.

I want to believe there is fairness. I guess I better start preparing my wish-list for Santa.

  32. Besides Drudge is another on the list of the biggest Dickheads in the world.

  33. Old Botox Nancy wanting to give money to an organization involved in voter fraud, now that is something that makes you go hmmmmm.

  34. TheRealKim, on October 16th, 2008 at 5:18 pm Said:

And to think that just a week ago, they wanted ACORN in the bailout package. Whose great idea was that one?

Chalk that one up to Pelosi, Frank and the usual suspects.

  35. So if it had been allowed to pass with ACORN in it, the taxpayers may have been paying for their legal fees. Oh that really bites.

  36. We are having early voting here in TN right now, I just may have to go cast my vote early and get it over with. McCain will win TN no doubt. But mine will be an f–k you to the DNC, Dean, Brazile, Reid and Pelosi and OBAMA.

  37. True, griffith. But many of these same polls had O running away with it less than 48 hours ago. This is a tighter race than the MSM would have anyone believe.

Here’s the blurb from that heading:

” GALLUP’s ‘traditional’ likely voter model shows Obama with a two-point advantage over McCain on Thursday, 49% to 47%, this is within poll’s margin of error… Developing… ”

  38. Griffith – In this case, Drudge is correct. Of course, Gallup must bury the lede to make it look better for Obama!

    Gallup Daily Tracking Poll

Among “registered” voters like Mickey Mouse, Obama is ahead 49% to 43%. Among LIKELY voters, Obama leads by a statistically insignificant 2%.

Guess McCain did a lot better than the pundits claimed last night.

  39. MICKEY MOUSE is voting Obama? No more Disneyland for me.

  40. griffithinc, on October 16th, 2008 at 5:23 pm Said:
Besides Drudge is another on the list of the biggest Dickheads in the world.

Or as I’ve often referred his site: The [SL]UDGE Report LOL!

  41. madamab, because they do their polling on a rolling basis, that doesn’t even include the debate. If McCain connected like I think he did, they should get even better for him.

  42. hee hee hee hee, you guys are killing me! :-)

Drudge really is an awful person.

    Gotta go – hubby’s home!!!

  43. kim, mickey mouse is one of the “people” acorn registered, along with jive turkey.

  44. OT but interesting:

Gallop has actually done three versions of its tracking poll, essentially because they’ve screwed their methodology so badly that their numbers have become suspect. The first version is tilted towards 0bama, naturally, and shows him up 49% – 43%. The second version, using their “expanded” likely voter model which supposedly accounts for the “new” voters, has BZero up by six as well, 51% – 45%.

The last version is their “tradition” likely voter model, the methodology they’ve used in every other election cycle. That model is MUCH closer, putting the Big 0 just two points ahead of McCain, 49% to 47%. TWO FREAKING POINTS. They made it glaringly obvious that they’ve been skewing their numbers to support 0bama from the start. It would be stunning if I hadn’t already figured it out.

  45. I gotta go too. Second job is calling, but my daughter graduates in May. She will have her BA in Party 101 from CofC and I paid for it.

  46. How come none of those pollsters ever call me?

Actually probably Scrooge McDuck will vote for Obama, Mickey Mouse has more sense than that. hee hee

    Marsha

  47. I know Gary.

  48. I’ll be going home at 6pm, you all have a nice evening. Talk to you tomorrow.

  49. Nah Mickey has always been a rat, he will go Obama.

  50. Ah, I was late posting the Gallop stuff. Sorry for the redundancy, but not for the outrage.

  51. I am just hoping that when people actually get into the voting booth they do the right thing this time and vote against this hand chosen pick. We still know very little about this guy and his paper trail is scarce. Fingers crossed that the public, the average guy on the street, is smart enough to think in terms of a divided government. As I see it, a full Dem congress and a Dem president under the leadership of Pelosi, Reid, Obama and whoever pulls his strings are going to lead us over the edge as a nation.

  52. NPR said Obama was campaigning in NH today, where he supposedly has a solid lead, telling people not to be overconfident. And reminding them how he lost to Hillary there despite having the lead (ah, good times).
Is it possible their internal polling is showing his lead slipping?

  53. (oh, and to those blowhard weenies–you know who you are– who have a problem with the sourcing on this blog; fair enough, foxnews or the nypost might not be exactly impartial, but I’ll bet you your 401K you can’t find me a reliable media source anywhere these days, so stick a cork in it).

    ZING!!!!!!!!!

Gary, this is why I love you!

FL is already purging ACORN voter registrations.

  54. Gallop shows 0bama’s lead slipping, when they’re not cooking the polls for him, that is.

  55. No, say it ain’t so Mickey!! I’m SOOO disappointed.

  56. Gary, does this mean that using traditional polling, as they did in 2004, Obama is doing worse than Kerry?

  57. Was standing next to two other mothers today picking up one of my kids at school. They were talking about the debate and the election and one said to the other “obama is so clear and concise and well spoken, I can understand everything he says. I cannot understand McCain when he talks and the way Palin speaks is offensive to me”

It took all of my might not to turn and ask if she found obama supporters wearing “Palin is a c**t” at McCain/Palin rallies more or less offensive than Palin’s Fargo-like accent? Normally I don’t have that kind of self control that I displayed today but I knew the kidlets were getting out soon and didn’t want them to have to find their rich, delusional mommys having attacks of the vapors!

  58. “FL is already purging ACORN voter registrations”

GREAT NEWS! I hope other states follow suit.

  59. The bad thing about these ACORN things, is that the legitimate voters who registered might get purged too. And I bet it would be the Republicans this time, not the Dems. That could be payback for ‘00 and ‘04. the DNC and Obama have learned to play dirtier than the Repugs. It’s a sad day.

  60. No, it was way worse than that. The Democrats wanted to give ACORN 20% of the profits from government sales of distressed assets acquired during the bailout–potentially billions of dollars!

ACORN, Fannie Mae, the Woods Foundation, the payoffs just keep coming…

  61. Gary, this is great, fact-filled post that exposes another of Obama’s bold-faced lies. Now I know why he has such a scrawny ass. His pants have caught fire so many times, there’s nothing left.

    Have to go fix dinner.

  62. Was standing next to two other mothers today picking up one of my kids at school. 63. The only one I feel to be somewhat impartial is Lou Dobbs. We spent today picking out our china pattern and he thinks Obama is a dupe who has a lot of influence peddling surrounding his nomination. He admits to not being a big fan of McCain but I have a feeling he is leaning in that direction. Anyone with any sense left will do the same since Obama is not good for this nation.

  64. Pat: How does Eddy feel now that Lou’s moved in??

  65. ainnj

I know, it isn’t worth the breath to talk to these people. I just keep my mouth shut, cause they are so like Zombies or Stepford people about Obama, they look at you like you’re talking Greek.

  66. SM: I sent Eddy off to Seattle and joaniebone. She offered to hose him down and take him to a clinic as soon as he arrived. Those days in Texas has left him a mere shadow of himself. But as long as Eddy continues to praise Obama, Eddy is on his own.

  67. Looks like there’s trouble with voter registration in Ohio.

    http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/10/16/america/vote.php

  68. gotta go guys, have a great evening

    Marsha

  69. OMG, there are so many posters on the Post Debate thread I have never seen before.

  70. votermom, that’s what I think.

Their internal polls must not look good. They’re working Hillary to death. (Give the woman a rest and make Biden earn his VP spot!) They’ve got their surrogates making r@cism charges. They’re flooding the airwaves with ads. Now they’re even attacking Joe the Plumber, an average citizen who asked Obama a simple question.

They sure look like they’re running scared to me.

  71. One must never criticize Obama and should he win FISA will root the rest of us out. On to the gulags!

  72. some Obama nitwit is saying Joe the Plumber, if he makes more than 250k owning the plumbing business, will get his tax cut because “capital gains taxes” will be protected… huh? I’m thinkin’ those are EARNINGS, not capital gains…

apparently Obama spokespeople think we are really stupid… really really stupid…

  73. Among “registered” voters like Mickey Mouse, Obama is ahead 49% to 43%. Among LIKELY voters, Obama leads by a statistically insignificant 2%.

Further, yesterday’s poll had Obama +4 (in the traditional model) so the three day average decreasing to +2 means that the individual daily polling is probably tied or tilted to McCain. Also, the overall RCP average has declined over the last three or four successive days. There isn’t going to be a real blowout. We are still a 45-45 nation with 10% who waddle back and forth.

  74. Pat, I’d laugh but what you say is a little too plausible.

My daughter called yesterday and was beside herself. She’d finally seen the Obama flag. Can you imagine the uproar if Bush had created his own flag? Camp Obama is scary and getting scarier by the minute.

  75. Didn’t they start early voting in Ohio already?

  76. oh, SOD, that’s awesome!

  77. I thought O prides himself on convincing the other side, or at least to have all these tens of thousands, “obamicans.”

Guess he just couldn’t make the sale with Joe and that just chuffed him, lolol

  78. Gary, if NC is investigating voter fraud, why did they go ahead with the early voting?

  79. Interesting article about polls, must read.

    http://www.zombietime.com/lefts_big_blunder/

  80. ..an anthem, blue shirts, and now a flag, and all for the Obama youth.

Suddenly that provision to protect the company that makes wooden arrows in the bail out bill makes sense.

  81. SoD, It was on TV the other night. My husband noticed it and pointed it out to me. And I’m not referring to the Ohio flag that some mistook for an Obama flag. BO was at an Obama podium and he had an Obama flag/banner behind him. The “branding” of this man’s campaign has reached the level of grotesque. And it comes across as the complete opposite of “presidential.” It’s tacky AND warped.

JulieS9164, That’s what I thought. That’s why on the last day of registration they were registering people and then having them vote that day.

  82. julie, i don’t get that either. I read an article that said they had “wrapped up” the investigation, and that of the registrations they sampled they found several hundred fraudulent ones. I don’t know what they are doing now…they need to check them all.

  83. I guess we won’t find multiple Jesse Helms registrations, though. *sigh* This is all so frustrating. We need the UN elections observers.

  84. I can’t imagine what its going to cost taxpayers to figure out which of those ACORN regs are real and which are false. they should just toss them all

  85. that’s brave SOD

  86. Now why didn’t Obama say to the Plumber,
“what can I do to get your vote? would a kiss do it?”

  87. Obama supporters managed to put Joe the Plumber out of work. McCain should beat the hell out of this. Single father thrown out of work for daring to question “the One”.

    http://hotair.com/archives/2008/10/16/good-news-toledo-moves-to-shut-down-joe-the-plumber/

  88. LOL it’s sad that you have to have the disclaimer for your sourcing because some whiny babies who can’t stand us PUMAs have a problem with the sourcing here, which I’ve never had a problem with.

Speaking of whiny babies, I also LOLed when I read in the comments of his New Mexico poll post that he “requested to be taken off of Riverdaughter’s blog roll” when in fact I read many a comments in a thread calling for him to be taken off the blog roll. Sounds like his ego is as big as Obama’s. And I barely comment or even watch the comments here.

  89. I read somewhere else that Joe doesn’t need a license to work on residences, but he does need one to work on commercial properties.

  90. I read that as well, but maybe Toledo has other ideas?

  91. OT – Kenosha Marge has a great piece today about dusting off the residue of the party that dumped on us all:

    http://insightanalytical.wordpress.com/2008/10/16/independent-thinking-part-1-partisan-no-more/

  92. Obama is a liar.

I would add one word to that sentence: compulsive.

This is one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever witnessed. He lies constantly, has multiple questionable relationships, uses corrupt practices and steals others’ ideas and legislation to advance himself, has terrible judgment, and weak character AND he is the most inexperienced candidate in 100 years. And he’s AHEAD?!!!

What’s one more horribly unethical association among friends? No problem, he SAID he doesn’t really know them Gary.

  93. gary? do you have the ability to clean up the post debate summary thread?

  94. About those questionable relationships. Radicals, the Chicago Way…

  95. Pat — about your concerns that the American people do the right thing when they get in the voting booth — my mom told me this morning: “I know the American people and the American people love their country. There is no way they will vote for Obama.” My mom said it — it’s true (don’t tell her I admitted this, but my mom is ALWAYS right).

  96. No Quarter has the whole O/Woods Fund/Ayers/Annenberg story — it all fits with the Acorn deal — all interrelated, all out of Chicago.

When Dems no longer trust Dems — you know it’s bad.
Really bad. But, this year? That’s what happened.
For a reason. Ask yourselves if it is a Dem you see, or something else based on the World History you know?

For me, it’s not a Dem. I think the pumapeople all see this pretty clearly by now. Acorn really bothers me, but even worse is the FEC deal and the overseas funds in the millions that he has taken in by using the web — big problems with that — because?

Who sent the $$$ for him to do an advertising blitz?
    Which countries?

    http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h8DEzWz6rCzXtX4b6fBYSVsV9ADAD93M0K5G0

  97. fif:

. . . .and hte main stream media keep pushing him (What does that tell you?) That tells me that I will never ever ever watch NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN again (I have cancelled my satellite and cable and do not miss them)!

    McCain/Palin
    America MUST be saved!

  98. On the plus side, I haven’t seen any ‘Joe is a Dick’ t-shirts, but then it’s been less than 24 hours since the debates. Perhaps the hateful Obots just haven’t had time to get them fixed up, shined up, and out on the streets.

  99. {{sigh}}

  100. jvsp:

“..an anthem, blue shirts, and now a flag, and all for the Obama youth.”

What’s the anthem- Barky, Barky, uber alles?

And these obama youth- they march around with shovels? Do they say “arbeit macht frei”, and are they encouraged to report their parents if the say something bad about the fuhre…uh, democratic nominee?

Dang, this obie bastit is getting real skeery….

As for Acorn- my favorite scams they’ve tried to pull are registering the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys to vote in Missouri and signing up a “John’s, Jimmy” with the address of a Jimmy John’s sub shop in Lake county, Indiana.

Yeeeeeyeah…hope and change. Right. Feckin’ scumbag.

  101. “Joe is a Dick” shirts … The reason we haven’t seen those is probably because Joe has a dick. They seem to save their special hatred for women..

  102. Obama flag???

  103. SOD: I’m so pumped by you; you certainly have some insufferable neighbors. I’ve told a few stunned people that I wasn’t aware I had to justify my vote to them.

  104. Puma john:

“I read somewhere else that Joe doesn’t need a license to work on residences, but he does need one to work on commercial properties.”

The mere fact that the media are crawling up poor Joe’s backside because he had the temerity to voice his less than complimentary opinion of the wizard of uhs is appalling.

Whether or not Joe has a commercial plumbing license for the state of Ohio is absolutely CRITICAL for us all to know- this is the sort of data that is essential to working our way out of the fannie/freddie mess, to dealing with hostile foreign governments, in formulating a plan for energy independence, and making a canny and informed choice for president.

Thanks for the timely and pertinent information, mainstream media!

    Feckin’ scumbags.

  105. Limbaugh today was talking about Joe the Plumber and said, “He better watch out, because the Obamathugs are going to come after him now.”

That didn’t take long huh? If the Truth Squads and his petty vengeance is not indicative of how he will “rule,” I don’t know what is.

  106. Hopefully Limbaugh, or someone, can make a few calls to Ohio and get Joe another job. That would be sweet in itself.

  107. RalphB: You are right, they probably figure ‘Joe is a plumber’ is roughly equal to ‘Sarah is a ___’.

You know the icky things plumbers do for a job. We just complain that work is shitty, but his actually is. I’m sure it is hard work being a troll.

  108. God, I feel so bad for Joe. The media and the Obamanuts (sorry, Obamacorns) can’t investigate anything related to Obama and they have had years, but they can destroy this guys life in less than a day. I hope ACORN will hire him to defraud the country, apparently they do not check up on anyone very much.

  109. I waded into daily kos because scoutt on Corrente said Joe’s address and tax info was posted.

Sure enough, they are tracking the guy down and have posted his address. I think he can let his doctor know this year’s physical won’t be necessary.

  110. jjmtacoma: You’re probably right. They’re probably insulated enough from real life to believe that. After all, they believe in Obama so their judgment is automatically suspect.

  111. Take heed, America. Oppose Obama and you will lose your job and your privacy. You will be attacked by freaks and lunatics.

No how, no way, No O’Stalin.

  112. African Free Press wrote a story regarding the Berg lawsuit against Obama and the DNC. The comments might lift your spirits. It is even reported that Michelle called in to a radio show and comments attributed to her are there as well. Since you all probably are more aware of her speech patterns, etc., maybe you can tell if these comments could have come from her.

I enjoy reading your blogs and sympathize with what the DNC has done to you. Maybe Barky will finally be buried for good.

  113. a rightish visitor–Oh I agree with you, i was just saying. I thnk it’s sick the way the Obamatrons descended on Joe the way they did. It really shows how desperate the Obamatronic Army is to slash and burn anything that gets in Dear leader’s way.

  114. Is attacking ACORN really productive and progressive? Far be it for me to defend Obama, but I think attacking ACORN is a bit contrary to the Confluence credo. Hampering ACORN may increase false negatives (ie obstructing valid voters), which is disenfranchisement. However, there is no evidence that ACORN increases false positives (ie fraudulent votes). If the call to count every vote is to be taken seriously (like in MI and FL Dem primaries), it must be applied consistently.

I understand the goal for the Confluence to keep the drum beating against Obama, but is ACORN the right drum? Surely his resume and his policies are more effective and defensible issues to critique than attacking ACORN.

  115. There have always been ballots “overlooked” but discovered after an election somewhere. What if the Sec of State or someone in the election office filled out ballots after an election for registered voters that didn’t show up? I would hope that votes would be time-stamped for this very reason.

  116. to anyone more computer savvy than me, there is a youtube video (if it hasnt been removed) of obama at an acorn meeting saying he will consult with acorn on all decisions he makes while president. can anyone find it. its very telling and prove obi is lying.
