Who’s Sorry Now?

Obama slips precipitously in the latest Hominid Views simulation based on 6 recent polls:

Obama- 272 EVs; McCain- 266 EVs

The Repubublicans haven’t even rolled out their big guns yet- the 527s.   Well, you can’t say we didn’t try to warn them:

  1. Actually Hominid missed the fact that McCain is ahead in NM in the last 2 or 3 polls, in addition to the fact that PA and MN are now true battleground States, with trends actually favoring McCain.

Not looking good there Barry, not looking good.

  2. Who did that YouTube? It is BRILLIANT!

One caveate, it missed the one of the biggest asshats of all, Jack Cafferty. (Excusable given so many asshats, so little time.) ;)

  3. That is a brilliant video!

Mu worry is the obamabots will turn on Hillary when he loses, saying “the b*itch didn’t do enough.”

My guess – reinforced my Roland Martin’s biased piece on CNN last night – is that the BO supporters just “know” they are right. So,i f anyone thinks differently that person, or group of persons, must be deranged, or … r*cist.

  4. Bravo! What a delightful vodeo! Goes perfectly with the Schadenfreuse story from Telegraph UK

  6. Boy, I’m finally listening to the Palin/Gibson interview. What a sexist fuc*er Gibson is – “hubris”?, “hubris”?!!! What a condescending dick he is. Pardon me, I’m pissed.

She fielded many difficult questions beautifully. I’m proud of her. I won’t vote for her but I’m very proud of her.

  7. Let’s see if Sarah Palin shows up in MN, NJ, an WA. If she does….watch out!

  8. Yeah, Gibson is a real jackass.

HA! I just heard they opened up an Obama campaign HQ here to target NM and NV. I can’t wait to plaster that place with my Real Dems fliers.

  9. elixer: You can say “dick” on this blog like you can say “fuck” on Corrente.
Aren’t you the one who “loves this job”?

  10. ben: If Sarah Palin shows up in Jersey, there is a good possibility that it will drift into swing territory. We’re almost there already. But would they listen? NOOooooOOOoo.

  11. OMG! LOOOOVE the winking PUMA at the end! Where can we get that video to email?

Missing Cafferty as stated above, and AP, NPR, Newsweek, Time, Andrew Sullivan, and and and…the list is too long.

Re: the map above. Shouldn’t PA be light blue as well, since it’s tightening there?

  12. “Lost in a blizzard of words..” Charlie Gibson calls Sarah Palin’s substantive answer “lost in a blizzard of words.” I wonder if he feels the same way when he interviews Obama. Maybe that would be an avalanche.

How did this guy get a job anyway?!!!!

  13. Absolutely hysterical video. The Keith O photo reminded me of the classic parody of flashers who go around in trenchcoats exposing themselves.

  14. Great video. I especially liked seeing Oprah included with all the other players. I could never understand her appeal. I think she is a lightweight and her endorsement of him proves it.

  15. Wonderful piece…….bravo!!

Too bad you didn’t include a pic of Jeralyn from TL….

  16. Yeah, the disabilities theme should go over splendidly with those people who use accomodations daily to do routine tasks. How comforting to know that their prospective president think they are loooooooossssserrrs.

  17. LOL….LOVE THE VIDEO.

I have the CNN Sarah Palin revealed videos and the SNL skit video up on my blog.

    Mountain Sage

  18. PssstCmere: I cannot take credit for the video. It was created by econsmed who gave us the brilliant Sympathy for the Devil NObama video about a month ago.

  19. Hooorah..The electricity is back on..and a Zogby poll shows up in the e-mail..one question was:

“Which of the following things scare you the most? (Choose only ONE)”

The was no place to right in…Obama as POTUS.

  20. Michelle Obama should be sorry now. She’s a fucking liar.

    http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/09/13/michelle-obamas-priorities/

  21. Oh tooo funny, I love the video had me in tears laughing, great song and such a complete LIST, wow all my favorites that have to go for crimes against our electoral process. YEAH PUMA’s

  22. Isn’t it funny how all these illuminati whine about Sarah Palin’s lack of knowledge. Mastering of issues matters to the Obama Fan Base all of a sudden?

Hillary display more knowledge on all issues than any candidate for POTUS ever displayed and what did we hear then? Oh ya, it didn’t matter as much as “change”, “hope”, “transcendental”, “transformational”.

Now we should get ourselves bent out of shape because Palin is as much a vacuous candidate as Obama?

I say to all these people, “go fuck yourselves!”

if you really want to get upset go read what pulin actually said and what ABC actually showed.

they really made her look bad witth their damned editing of the interview.

“Newsbusters got ahold of the entire ABC Palin interview transcript. To say that they edited the piece shown on TV to paint Palin in a negative light would be an understatement.

  24. The song couldn’t be any more perfect for the video. “I’m happy that you’re sorry now.” Painful to look at that assortment of characters though–yuck.

  25. Great Video. Great Song. Who’s sorry now?

  26. What a brilliant video! I’ll be singing that song all afternoon!

  27. Also Ohio poll is out and it appears the States lost to Obama even resorting convict rights won’t help that much…

  28. Whenever Hillary goes out on the stump for Obama, she should have them play “How Do You Like Me Now?” as she leaves the stage.

  29. fif
.” Painful to look at that assortment of characters though–yuck.

that’s true and when you actually view the elected or appointed Dem’s in that list, I am thinking no wonder Obama is losing and no wonder it dosen’t feel like a Democratic Party race…but dose make you wonder where the rest of the Party is hanging out

  30. Damn, that was a brilliant video!

  31. RD, Great post per usual. Yup, “I love this job”

  32. WHO MADE THAT FABULOUS VIDEO?!

I might not be able to wipe that smile of delight off of my face ALL DAY!

    Mêrci beaucoup! Danke! Gracious!

  33. ZOMG!

Over at C&L they are claiming that McCain’s ad criticising Obama for treating Palin disrespectfully is . . . well, you know what they called it.

  34. We could put a 10 minute video together and still not capture all the faces of those who betrayed us and Hillary. Jonathan Alter, though, is my nomination for the absolute worst.

  35. I love it! But, you definitely need to add in Jack Cafferty, who’s CDS is legendary. ;o}

  36. Great video. One of my favorite songs, and music so well timed w/ photos. econsmed portrayed those folk in a perfect light — just like they’ve been doing to Hillary all year. Who’s shrill now? Turnabout is fair play, eh?

Did anyone catch the Democrat women on Face The Nation this morning? They were in the new full force attack mode. Debbie Wasserman Schultz was laughing off-camera as Kay Bailey Hutchisson (sp) was talking, and on camera giving it the no Palin, no way no how will the women of America go for this.

  37. Wish me luck on my fantasy football team.

  38. Great video. However, Chuck Todd was the first to play the race card in the campaign. He is also an advisor to Obama. His wife is on Obama’s payroll. He should be on the video.

Feinstein was asked again “why will Obama not list his donors and his advisors?”

    Silence was the answer.

  39. too bad all those faces aren’t being hit with eggs in that vid.
    tehe

  40. I just read the transcript of the entire Charlie Gibson/Sarah Palin interview. Disgusting.

  41. I am reading this blog, which I do several times a day, in addition to Puma pac and Hillary is 44.
I am not getting my work done. As I am self employed this is REALLY a problem. I am addicted. I don’t want to miss a word of anti O news and material…which I promptly send around to anyone who hasn’t told me to “cease and desist”.
Yesterday I may have lost a significant client who turns out to be an OBOT. He was so infuriated as I gave him the whole PUMA attitude…start to finish.
    Help! what do I do?

also…I was surprised to hear that O raised record amounts of $ in August.

  42. Absolutely brilliant! If you make a sequel video please consider adding these traitors to your cast of dastarderly characters:
    Bill Richardson
    John Edwards
    Maureen Dowd
    Ed Shultz
    Caroline Kennedy

Many of us are taking heat from friends and co workers. My facebook page is constantly inundated with anti-Palin and pro-Obama propaganda. However, I do believe that once this election is over bygones will be bygones. And we will have such satisfaction. And on November 5th Hillary will rise again and reclaim our party for us.

  45. Ben:
I agree, but how do you folks get your work done??

  46. I wish I were as certain that this thing was in the bag. But with Obama raising so much money and the MSM constantly shilling for him, it will go down to the wire.

  47. also…I was surprised to hear that O raised record amounts of $ in August.
    ***********
That was before the Sara-cuda was added to the equation. For August, $66 million in fund raising is bad news for the Obama campaign. Their rational for rejecting “public financing” was that they needed a least $300 million to compete against a publicly financed McCain + RNC + 527s. They need to raise >$100 million per month, minimum. Their “burn rate” is very high because they have had no spending decipline.

  48. My guess is that Obama and B Clinton talked about many things including Hillary on the ticket. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bill leveraged his assistance with winning in November to secure Hillary a slot on the ticket. Total speculation on my part.

So what will be Biden’s “personal reason” for dropping out of the VP slot?

  49. SOD: I hate to say this, but I honestly believe the Obama campaign wants a flare-up of racism against him, no matter how small. I wonder if someone in the Obama campaign would simulate or instigate some incident. He has been untouchable because he is black, and his supporters constantly decry racism. There has been nothing. But if they get desperate, I wouldn’t put it past them. It also wouldn’t take much to incite something. I know that sounds ugly, but these multiple racism charges have really ticked off a lot of people.

  50. My fantasy football team is the Oakland Raiders.

I have fantasies of them winning games.

  51. Loved the post today; GREAT song – Connie Francis – one I remember well! I had chills and smiles while watching this wonderful video!m I agree with Scranton4Hillary – add these other characters – Richardson definitely the biggest!

  52. stateofdisbelief: Yep, Obama really doesn’t know his Pennsylvanians. In some of those more rural areas, Hillary canvassers passed house after house with the Stars and Bars hanging from the porch. Here’s where Obama made his mistake: those houses are Republican houses. Democrats in PA are not like that at all. They are DEMOCRATS for a reason. They are members by choice of a party that rejected racism. Obama didn’t need to insult the Democrats of PA, They already liked him. They just didn’t want to vote for him because they felt he wasn’t ready.
Now, the whole state is turning for McCain and Obama is about to send out the equivalent of the Hari Krishnas to talk to them, insulting them once again because as we all know, Obamaphiles truly believe that anyone who won’t vote for Obama has a subnormal IQ or no “education”. (Yeah, can you believe it? I had an Obot in the comments tell me quite condescendingly that Senators do the treaties according to the consititution but it was OK if I didn’t know that because I lacked an “education”. It turns out Senators only approve treaties. They don’t negotiate or enforce them. That’s the job of the executive branch, alaskaisclosetorussia!)
Yep, Pennsylvanians don’t like young, smug, zealots coming to tell them how stupid they are for supporting McCain. Won’t go over well at all. There’s going to be a world of hurt for the ones who step onto the wrong porches.

  53. SHV, $66M? I thought Obama raised somewhere in the teens in August, like $16M. Where did $66M come from?

  54. AArtist:

I get my work done by just stepping away from the computer which I have to do right now. This thing is far from over. We are just enjoying the show. We can sit on the sidelines and snipe and armchair quarterback because we really don’t have a horse in this race. We aren’t going to go out and work for McCain and we ain’t doing anything for Obama. So we have the best of all worlds.

  55. IQ,
Don’t remind me of the Raiders. I had them as my defense because they were cheap and I thought they would pay a few dividends in the end. I lost enough points to kick me from the top 4 or 5 to the middle of the pack. Sigh.

  56. the Downticket Dems are in deep doo doo, considering the DNC has little money to supplement his cause.
    *************
That is another good point. Moving the DNC to Chicago, all money funneled through the Obama campaign and no funding for Dem 527s makes the $66 million a very anemic number. Also the Sara-cuda is worth the equivalent of $60-$100 million in paid advertising and GOTV money.

  57. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/

RCP has the map 227 McCain, 217 Obama, with 94 toss up now.

    McCain-Palin are surging!

No wonder Obama is resorting to what he knows best: Chicago slash and burn politics.

So, far, Obama has played the race card, the age card, the gender card, the sexism card, what is left?

    The riot card?

Obama and his surrogates are disrespectful and desperate!

  58. Wait! I just realized Maureen Dowd is not in the video!

I just watched The View appearance with McCain. It wasn’t as bad as some people made it sound. They were harping on Roe V. Wade, and his “lying ads” at one point, but he was very calm and graceful. He also uses humor very well to parry their attacks. Other than that, they treated him with respect and listened to his answers. Whoopi’s comment about slavery was in the context of strict interpretation of the Constitution, and was metaphorical. Not to defend the insane Left’s hysteria, but we have to be honest about when it is truly mindless, and when it is more moderate.

If you must go canvassing, take at least three people, One should stay in the car in case there needs to be a quick getaway. Canvassers should approach a house in pairs and a woman should never go alone unless she has self-defense training. In fact, I just wouldn’t canvass in rural PA. There’s no bang for the buck there and a huge opportunity to get hurt.
And THAT would backfire on Obama. Because the vast majority of reasonable Pennsylvanians would say the Obama campaign lacks common sense for putting people at risk.

  61. Tom Brokaw ……If anyone thinks, he is not in the tank for Obama, should have their heads examined.

The sex*sm directed at Hillary and Palin has been quantitatively and qualitatively different.

Imagine how different it would have been if the “Hillary Nut-cracker” was the worst example of sex*sm and misogyny in the campaign.

I agree. I live in a small town in Eastern Kentucky. All Obama had to do was let us vote for Hillary, shut up until the convention was done, and then come back with KY Dems, unions, etc, and let us get to know him. Most would have forgiven his inexperience, some would have forgiven his questionable alliances, but nobody forgives the cheating of the votes and being called racist dumb hillbilly hick just because s/he voted for another Democrat.

Just like in the primary’s when things looked bad for him they’d “BRING OUT THE BIG DOLLARS”!! Dean & Pelosi only answer to the almighty dollar.
Well, I don’t believe ANYTHING that comes out of that camp.
I remember when campaigning for Hillary people used to say:
“Why don’t you charge for lawn signs like Obama”??!!
I heard he would charge a $1 @ his rally’s. My guess is those people are on their “list of Donors”. The $$ check foreign accounts??!!
    I said I don’t believe him!

I just got off the phone with a McCain guy who wants me to pony up $1000 to see Sarah Palin at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Apparently Tom Siebel’s house in Woodside would only accomodate 800 people (!) so they rented out a 2,000 seat hall to handle the demand.

Ok, so McCain/Palin are now ahead in the polls, with a massive 20 point shift among white women. But we all know that polls are fickle, and nothing is settled until the election. With that in mind, I have a request, particularly for any members of the loyal opposition who may be reading this.
We’re going to need you to do your part for McCain/Palin ‘08.

1.)Please keep attacking Sarah Palin’s family. Especially if you happen to be an official member of the Obama campaign. Failure to follow through on his threats to fire anyone who participates in those kinds of attacks will call into question his sincerity and resolve, allowing Republicans to have all the voters who value that kind of thing in a chief executive.

2.)Please keep mocking small towns and rural folk who know where meat comes from. We can use all their votes too.

2.5)Please continue to question Sarah Palin’s ability to “have it all” as a working mother. After you finish scorning the dreams and aspirations of working mothers around the nation, we’ll be happy to take their votes.

3.)Please make fun of her religion. We can not only use the votes of devoutly religious folks—and could you please compare your candidate to Jesus some more? Thanks!—but also of non-believers who respect Christians who spend more time living their faith than trying to force it on others.

4.)Please point out any instance in which she only halfway lived up to her ideals. This will provide us with plenty of glass-half-full talking points, and point out that Obama’s glass has always been completely full… of hot air.

5.)Please belittle her accomplishments as governor of Alaska. I will never tire of asking how many 4-way, $25 billion deals Obama has successfully negotiated between foreign nations, oil companies, state legislators, and native tribes. (And after 30 years of delays, she did it in her first term!)

6.)Please point out how stereotypically submissive and overtly feminine she is, with her red patent leather heels and her hair done up, and her… house husband? (Who quit his job to avoid a conflict of interest while Michelle Obama was getting her pay doubled, and whose employers then conveniently got a million $ earmark written for them by her husband.)

I know it’s a lot to ask, but with your help, we can keep this wave rolling all the way to the White House!

Today a staff writer, another intelligent and reasonable man, wrote yet another column for Obama. It seems he’s sure Obama didn’t mean a thing by the lipstick remark, that McCain is grasping at dirty straws, and Obama is running clean.

This is pretty typical of KY newspapers right now. Are we simply being fair, does this reflect the personal views of these men, or are we trying to prove to the world that we’re not racist hillbillies?

I’m still extemely uncomfortable with the MSM pushing that whole racist hillbilly etc theme. Why do they try to justify their sympathy for one stereoyped group [AA] by attacking another stereotyped group? Why did they rush to perpetuate this predudice? I reject it for my people here, I reject it for the untruth it brings to this political season, and I reject it for any hate that may arise. Appalshop offers a 2000 film called Stranger with a Camera that focuses on the 1967 murder of a Canadian filmmaker by an Appalachian man fed up with the prejudices and shame he felt the media obsessed on here. I in no way condone or sympathize with this violence, but Appalachian Elizabeth Barret captures the frustration of our residents.

Why does the media pretend that this racist hillbilly stereotype is without consequences? They pretend that it doesn’t affect our young people going to college, or when we apply for jobs, or that it doesn’t affect our self-mage. This, btw, is why I truly despise MSNBO, CNN, and the rest. They sold out residents here for cheap laughs just to help their candidate Barack Obama. I didn’t do anything remotely racist, and I don’t have to prove I’m not a racist, but Obama has to prove to me that he isn’t a racist, and the MSM has to prove to me that it is not corrupt.

  102. I think Bill told bothat he thougt bo would win handily …. so bo would continue to believe it ….

  103. Lady B: I’ll be waiting. The sun just came out so perhaps I’ll run a few errands. I have got to get a life.

  104. I am in moderation again, I guess for the r word, now that I see it, it is a big ol diatribe. sorry, I just had to say that stuff that’s bothered me for months.

  105. Claire would have no problem running to the middle on abortion and other social issues if she needed to and had to in Missouri.

  106. This is where; in the primary ; the fix went into effect and Michigan and Florida were hung out to dry …and bo &co kept urging Hillary to drop out .
Unfortunately at this time …. we cant find those other 7 states beyond the first 50 that would put the fix in for bo now , what a shame

.. I love love love the video song

  107. Really? Bill Clinton is beloved by Democrats??? Sure didn’t seem that way.

“He is beloved by Democrats but also those Clinton Republicans if you will … the folks who made him president twice,” the analyst added. “I think you’ll see him out an awful lot.”

  108. Bill and Hill out campaigning only make Obama look more incompetent. Chelsea make Obama look as dumb as a box of rocks and that isn’t snark.

  109. Bill Clinton is without doubt, one of the best american presidents ever. The way he was trashed by Obama supporters still makes my blood boil.

  110. River…..

These are the people that we need to hold responsible for their actions this election cycle. No longer should we be content to allow these clowns to force feed us “THEIR” candidate.

These people exist because we ALLOW then to exist. It is time we take away this power and prove to these “Corporations” once and for all that we will not tolerate their meddling in our democracy

  111. Sunday’s UPDATED Numbers:

    McCain – 50%
    Obama – 47%

Note: Rasmussen is only tracking polls among leaners until Election Day.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows John McCain reaching the 50% level of support for the first time.

McCain retains a three-point advantage for the third straight day, 50% to 47%.

Rasmussen Markets data gives McCain a 52.4 % chance of victory while expectations for Obama are at 46.0 %.

The Rasmussen Reports Balance of Power Calculator shows McCain leading in states with 200 Electoral College votes while Obama has the edge in states with 193 votes.

  112. “Palin pandemonium” in Nevada

  113. Hillary always said that it was the map, not the math. I miss her.

Did anyone see this post from Craig Crawford about how much of a game changer Sarah Palin is?:

    The Change Race Tightens

I always liked Craig’s appearances on Countdown. Funny that he’s not on there so much now that KO has drank the kool-aid.

  114. Thanks for the wonderful news Reg. I’m alway too afraid to look at the daily tracking polls. I count on all of you to keep me informed.

  115. Haven’t had a chance to read all the posts here, but wanted to add that I just saw a video clip that showed the O and Mc tied at 45 in MN.

Things are certainly getting worser and worser for ‘the one.’ ;)

  116. rasmussen is holding at 50-47 McCain. that is good news.

  117. Oh dear God that made my Sunday!

to do a redneckie thing: “Sheeit t! That was better than SEC football” ! 8)

Roland Martin can go suck an egg! If he feels that someone who is not pro-Obama is r@cist (where have we heard it before and how long are they gonna run with that one), then he should seek a new place to live.

  118. Thank you for the grizzly good video post. Props to the creative team that produced it!

  119. Boy would I love to be a little fly on the wall of Bill and Hill’s home.

  120. Riverdaughter, I hope you had a good time with your daughter at the WaterPark.

I’m beginning to believe all of you are right, even in NV which I thought was hopeless this year. I spent 6 hours doing voter registration yesterday at the fair and we did more “party change” registrations than I’ve seen since I’ve started doing it. Most of them women. I couldn’t help but ask if they were Hillary delegates to our County Convention, and all but 1 were, and they all went to our State Convention, and they all said they were so disgusted with not only Obama, but they want Harry Reid gone in 2010.

  121. I’m wondering if WA State will go McCain since Gov. Palin is more or less a Pacific Northwesterner.
Why not vote for her? I am. When I got violently sick on May 31 after the RBC meeting and thought I might have to go to ER, I knew that was it for me. My vote will count double and will go to McCain. I want corruption cleaned up and I do not want Barky to even come close in this election.
    Gov. Palins accomplishments.
    New! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt6VzuseI30

  122. Troll?

  123. Is Obama going gray or is it make-up? Hubby thinks it make-up to make him look more distinguished.

  124. Oh and by the way, Obama is sooooo yesterday. He’s old news. People still supporting him are supporting loser. It’s time to jump the Obama ship because it’s going down. His VP is a Washington fixture, errr insider for years! Is that change? I’ve jumped on the McCain express all the way to the whitehouse. Jump on or get out of the way. After all we’ve been through I’m baffled as to why some won’t cast a vote for Mccain especially knowing that Obama steals votes. We need insurance that he won’t win from stealing this and that means we need tons of votes for McCain to offset the Obama crookery. After all of the corruption witht he DNC I have no problem crossing party lines and voting McCain. I don’t want Barky near the whitehouse and he will try to steal it. Please reconsider. Country first! Country before party.

  125. me thinks troll.

  126. Trolls don’t support McCain or Palin Ben. paranoid some? I worked my butt off for Hillary and she let the party bosses walk all over her. So I’m supposed to sit home and not vote and hope Barky doesn’t get it? No No
That’s what Donna Brazille wants everyone to do is sit home..do that and Barky will claim your ballot for himself. He goes off of a list of registered dems but uncast vote…surprise!

  127. Yep troll.

Parentofed, I really enjoy your comments, they explain many things to me. Thx.

  128. You’re preaching to the choir, i.e. waste of time. Novelty is always good though.

  129. (that was in response to “pig”)

  130. Yep – ineffective troll.

    Sunday = amateur day.

  131. No one asks O about his former Chicago district, what he changed, improved, his campaigns, nothing! Anybody have any links to info regarding any of this? ?

  132. You all are very much a group that is not inclusive. But there are many other PUMA groups that are more than inclusive for ALL dissfected Dems. Thanks for the support but no thanks!

  133. If you’re speaking of me Ben, perhaps.

I actually wanted Hillary to win top ticket though. I could have crossed party-lines to vote for her. While I loved John McCain in 2000 (I voted for Gore b/c JM didn’t win), I wasn’t sure about him this go around. Ron Paul beat him in NV. Rs have done some pretty dirty, back handed things, after taking power, and I’m with Dean Heller when he says we need to clean house: http://www.lvrj.com/news/24058824.html. I needed someone I could feel comfortable voting for and I do not feel comfy voting for BO.

I will never vote for the R running in my Congressional District b/c he is not only sexist, he is anti-semitic. Extreme Christian Right.

However, I am stunned at how many women changed their voter reg yesterday. I’ve never seen this before. I suspect this had something to do with it: http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2008/feb/24/convention-ends-chaos-so-dems-need-do-over/

  134. You missed Michael Moore smirking that “God is on our side!”

  136. Parentofed,

I loved your diatribe. Those are really good points about the effects of these stereotypes on kids in Appalachia.

  137. Parentofed – despair not. Bambi doesn’t just hate Appalachains. He hates small town hicks.

    And moose.

Now honestly, how could someone hate Bullwinkle?

  138. Regency at 2:57 pm: Note: Rasmussen is only tracking polls among leaners until Election Day.

That’s a little inaccurate and misleading. The exact quote from Rasmussen is:

Earlier, Rasmussen Reports reported tracking poll results both with and without leaners. Now that Election Day is drawing near, we will report only the results with leaners.

  139. The video clip for this thread and the next one from SNL are just great. Loved them. The news for McCain Palin just seems to be getting better and stronger. I have my fingers crossed that it will stay that way. I am beginning to think that Americans are not only unimpressed with msm reporting and commentary, they actively dislike it enough to vote as opposite of the msm as they can. One of the insights I liked here today was how PA voters see O as the upstart guy who doesn’t pay his dues and tries to jump ahead in line. I realized when I read that how much it described some of my own feelings. Thanks.

Here is some very enlightning reading for you re: Obama as community organizer in Chicago.

    http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/06/27/grim_proving_ground_for_obamas_housing_policy/?page=1

    Here’s the gist:

The Tony Rezko scandal focused the nation’s attention on just one piece of a much larger story: Obama’s close association with several South Chicago slum landlords, plus one property manager who is now his senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett.

You may have to register to read the whole Boston Globe Article.

and his plans for America post election:

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/04/barack_obama_the_community_org.html

It would seem that if the MSM spent half the time digging into Obama that they did with Palin, they could really develope some viewers.

But then, the MSM should have done their homework BEFORE THE PRIMARIES!!

    *sigh*

  141. Here are a couple more short notes I highjacked re: Obama’s “community days’

A principal actor is Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s senior campaign advisor, close family friend, and Michelle Obama’s former boss on Mayor Daley’s staff, where Jarrett hired her in 1991. Currently, Michelle is on leave from her position at the University of Chicago’s Medical Center where Jarrett is Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors.

Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to Obama’s presidential campaign and a member of his finance committee. Jarrett is the chief executive of Habitat Co., which managed Grove Parc Plaza………………

There’s ALOT more but when I start reading that stuff my stomach hurts.

Someone should ask Valerie if she feels that she can “have it all”

  142. I love that video!!!
…and I can’t wait for October, always a fun month during presidential elections.

This cub will be waiting for the Mama PUMA to come and save her followers… in 2012

I already have her “Debate” shade of lipstick… so I’ll be ready!

Isn’t it funny how all these illuminati whine about Sarah Palin’s lack of knowledge. Mastering of issues matters to the Obama Fan Base all of a sudden?

    ————-

I know, these hypocrites are just hilarious. I honestly, honestly believe the irony is lost on them. They’re that dogmatic that they can’t even see how absurd it is for **Obama** supporters to whine about a candidate’s lack of experience.

    Teehee. It’s lovely to watch.

  144. I took a much needed break from studying, and was told this was my must see for time online today. Wonderful video, I love it . Thank you, you made my day!

    PUMA
    McCain/Palin 08

  145. Love the ending!

  146. This can’t be accurate. The Electoral math must be off. Obama will be fine. Don’t you rubes know that Barrack has completely shored up his European base? Pfft..The electoral votes from Germany and Belgium alone make this election a lock!

  147. i m unalbe to view the view :(

  148. Georgia Democrats are the latest group to file a lawsuit that would allow “individuals” to register and vote without showing an ID. Voter IDs are FREE in Georgia, however the Democrats believe obtaining an ID or showing a drivers liscense is too much inconvenience for the “poor and monorities. See Atlanta Civics Examiner link:
    http://www.examiner.com/x-852-Atlanta-Civics-Examiner

  149. LOVED THAT VIDEO BUT IT SHOULD HAVE HAD HILLARY LAUGHING IN THE BACKGROUND AT THE END.

  150. After the previous elections, a BBC analyst said about Democrats “what did they expect?” He described them as a “party in crisis”. They picked a nominee and then declared the guy was a mistake and suggested their supporters voted for their second choice – the guy that was pronounced not good enough before. This time around they made a mistake that borders on insanity – not picking a woman for a running mate. I have no clue how Republicans managed to dig out Palin but it was a brilliant move and it showed that they noted and respected women’s sentiment. Obama and his team acted as out and out misogynists – they just couldn’t bring themselves to picking a woman and, to make the matters worse, made a statement offensive to all women. This is just bad business. What are they thinking?

  151. FUNNY HOW ALL THE PUNDITS ARE SAYING “WHEN PEOPLE GET TO KNOW OBAMA..” WELL ITS BEEN 16 MONTHS NOW AND WE STILL DONT KNOW WHO HE REALLY IS. WILL WE FINALLY FIND OUT WITH JUST 2 MONTHS LEFT TO GO? AND WILL THE PUBLIC LIKE WHAT IT WILL FIND OUT? HIS CAMPAIGN HAS BEEN THE MOST SECRETIVE IN HISTORY ABOUT THEIR CANDIDATES BACKROUND. ANYONE WONDER WHY?
